Action Ops: Snow & Sable

Action Ops: Snow & Sable is a 2018 sci-fi spy slot from Triple Edge Studios, an exclusive Microgaming/Games Global development label. Set in the futuristic city of Aurora, it follows two cybernetic secret agents — silver-haired Snow and dark-haired Sable — across a 5×3 grid with 10 fixed paylines.

The defining mechanic is the dual Wild system. Snow and Sable each have their own Wild symbol. Both substitute for standard symbols but not for each other or the scatter. When a win line contains a mix of Snow and Sable Wilds, the payout is 50% of what a pure set would return — the mixed-agent penalty adds a small strategic wrinkle to reading the reels.

Three or more scatter symbols trigger free spins: 10 for three, 15 for four and 20 for five. Once free spins begin, the full reel 1 and reel 5 lock into one agent Wild — the game randomly assigns Snow or Sable to each outer reel — creating two guaranteed Wild columns for every spin.
